What are the films you are currently acting now?

In Tamil I am acting in Ninaithale Inikkum. This film is a remake of the Malayalam super hit film Class Mates. Prithviraj who had acted in the original version is also acting in the Tamil remake version.

He is very talented and is dedicated to his work. Kumaravelan has directed this film. This film will also be a hit like the Malayalam film. I am also acting in Ravanan directed by Manirathnam and a Telugu film directed by Madan.

I am been banned from telling the story. So I cannot speak about it. My long time dream is to act in Manirathnam film. Now this dream has been fulfilled. Manirathnam is a simple person. He has got the capacity to bring out the acting talent in a person. He will not allow a person until he is satisfied with his action. I liked the character and story. Initially I felt a bit difficult in acting in this film but later on it was satisfactory.

How many films have you acted so far?

I have been in cinema for the last five years. I have acted in 17 films so far. My first film was Kangalal Kaidu Sei. I was really proud because this film was directed by ace director Bharathiraja. Paruthiveeran gave me the status of best actress. I am thankful to Ameer.

Tell us about the heroes you had acted with?

Dhanush is a jolly good person. It was a beautiful experience when working with him in the film Idhu Oru Kana Kaalam. Karthi is another beautiful person. Our pair was extraordinary. I paired with Prithviraj in the Malayalam film Sathyam. The film was released five years ago. Our friendship continues even now. Now we have joined once again in Ninaithale Inikkum.

What about glamour?

There is nothing wrong in acting in glamour roles if the story demands. But my fans want to see me in glamour roles only. It is my duty to satisfy them. But I have exceeded my limit in Telugu films.

What about the rumors linking you and your colleagues?

I don’t understand why they are doing this. If they hear some thing about me, they can very well ask me about that. But instead doing this, they are spreading rumors about me. Whenever I read these rumors I get irritated and become furious
